I am available for hire to corporations and nonprofits for full-time assignments lasting 3 months to one year. I am also available for consultation and short-term assignments, but my specialty is taking the idea to fruition.
Regarding the URL: Lapchick Creative was my ad agency which closed in January. This is the future home of Lapchick & Co. website which will launch in fall 2009.
Capabilities
I research and evaluate potential alliances, identify unique opportunities and benefits for all parties, develop creative ways to position, brand, and package signature programs to attract and engage specific stakeholders.
In addition, I develop and present creative presentations to prospective partners and help negotiate agreements that benefit all parties involved.
My process includes assessing and implementing any needed enhancements to the brand, design, and messaging as well as the development of a marketing strategy.
Case Studies
1995: My first experience with cause marketing (I thought I'd made it up!). I coordinated an effort to partner two of my clients: the local Mercedes-Benz dealer and a high-end juried art show. I was able to create a hefty value proposition in exchange for funding. The value proposition included free tickets to our preview, allowing the dealership to entertain clients, plus access to 2000 local consumers of high-end custom made jewelry, pottery, and textiles. We engaged the Mercedes audience and promoted the show by featuring work in their showroom.
